6 Sensational Ways to Celebrate National Burger Day
Bollman Burgers
While grocery shopping a while back, I got a text message from Tom. It contained pictures of two different seasonings and a message that said, “Please, pick these up, get buns, and sliced American and Provolone. I’m making super tonight.” Umm… should I be excited or scared?!?!
Roasted Jalapeño Burgers with Cilantro Lime Sauce and Cheddar Cheese
The combination of the heat from roasted jalapeños (I LOVE the flavor of roasted peppers) and the cool flavor of the Cilantro Lime Sauce made these burgers absolutely delicious! That is the beauty of burgers, you can make them any flavor to suit any taste.
Spinach Artichoke Burgers
A friend of ours did something I had been wanting to try, but had forgot until I saw her do it. She spread some of the Spinach Artichoke Dip that I had made on her burger. When she reminded me of it, I tried it and it was amazingly delicious!
Spicy Hawaiian Burgers
This burger is the product of my existing love for Hawaiian pizza, and the fact that I had jalapenos and pineapple from my Bountiful Basket to use. I thought, if pork, pineapple, and jalapenos are good on pizza, surely they would be tasty on a burger. Turns out I was right, this burger is delicious!
French Onion Burgers
In an attempt to meet all of my increased nutrient requirements I have been trying some of Terryn’s beef recipes, and making some of our family favorites. One of those favorites is the French Onion Burger. When we make these burgers, we cook them completely on the stove-top, but this burger could easily be started on the grill and finished on the stove-top. – Guest post from My Sheila
Chorizo-esque Burgers with Garlic Shrimp
These Chorizo-esque Burgers with Garlic Shrimp were the product of quick thinking and an adaptation of this recipe from the Lady & Pups – an angry food blog.
