It’s true the cows got out, but that’s not all that happened that week…
Dot, the little dudes (puppies – Binx and Stone), and I moved heifer calves. A few weeks ago, we sorted all of the calves and gave them booster vaccines. The steers went to the feed yard where they’ll grow and go on to provide to tables like yours and mine. But the heifers, over the hills and through a bunch of gates to fresher pasture they went.
We drove a long way (and almost got stuck) to cake the cows. I told what I though was a cool story about an entertaining teaching moment with our kids, explaining what meditation is and why it’s okay to tell satan to “get out of our lives and shut-up.”
I put out some fresh bales of hay for the horses on a frigid day and disclosed that I’m not the world’s greatest tractor operator.
One of the puppies puked in my seat. Tagg helped open some gates and chopped some ice. And you can watch it all in our latest vlog 👇🏼
