We’ve been doing this YouTube thing for a few weeks now and we’ve had a few questions come in, so today we’re answering them.
I talk about why we’re caking our cows even though it looks like there’s a lot of feed in the pasture and how we make the decision to start caking. Hint: it has to do with the age of our cows and the quality of our range.
You’ll find how far out of town we are and how long it takes us to get to the nearest gas and groceries. Hint: we’re pretty remote.
I talk about how often we do health checks and what types of things we’re looking for. Hint: we do health checks every time we’re in our herd to make sure every animal is happy and healthy.
Oh, and – we pull porcupine quills out of a cow’s face in this one too. 😉
PS – We love answering questions. So, if you’ve got them, drop them in the comments either here 👇🏼 or on the video ☝🏼.
PPS – We’d love it if you head on over and subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on our shenanigans, a.k.a. our everyday ranch life.
